Stephanie Greco has spent the majority of her life dedicating her energy to causes she is passionate about. She has created and built private, for-profit companies and 501(c)3 nonprofits. Stephanie’s career and volunteer service spans 30 years, with particular focus on women and girl enterprises. Stephanie has built a successful small business consulting practice by deploying her expertise in brand management, which has assisted early and next-stage companies optimize their sales, marketing, and communications efforts for growth. Stephanie recently completed her Masters in Psychology at Teachers College Columbia University with a concentration in Spirituality, Mind, Body.
Stephanie is the co-founder of Growing Great Schools and The National Association of Physical Literacy (NAPL), the evolution of which became 241care. Stephanie organized to provide a framework that could help our struggling youth and high school aged students who were experiencing physical and mental health challenges. As a former collegiate athlete with over 10 years of coaching experience in the youth and high school levels, Stephanie focused on the fundamentals of movement, nutrition, and mindfulness as a path to wellness by developing an evidenced-based curriculum and programming that is used today.
As a community leader Stephanie brought her love of connection to her community in her work with youth sports organizations, the church and local nonprofits. She is inspired to expand her efforts to advance life-long well-being through her Spirituality, Mind, Body training. She is dedicating the next phase of her life to spreading the word about the importance of prioritizing your health and well-being.
Family is a critical part of Stephanie’s life. She is a regular participant in the family tradition of Sunday dinner, that has withstood generations. She is an extremely proud mother of three physically active and spiritually balanced young adults. She resides happily in Connecticut where she can be found at a farmer’s market, cooking for friends, reading or walking the beach with her husband (of 31 loving and adventurous years) and dog.
Florinda Ferguson has been teaching, coaching and inspiring individuals and teams for three decades to move with purpose, develop alignment, cultivate agility, access balance, foster self-care, communicate with clarity and show up daily to deliver their favorite version of themselves.
She holds an M.Ed. in Educational Administration & Leadership from Boston College, has formally mentored and trained teachers across various academic, wellbeing and leadership programs, is experienced in multiple lanes of curricular development & writing, including aerospace, healthcare and manufacturing, and is a former National Endowment for the Humanities Scholar with international practice in research and program development.
She is the founder of West Hartford, CT’s first PilatesBarre Motion & Mindset studio; the creator of “As Write As Rain”, a blog, editing and creative mentoring program; and is the founder of A Matter of Life & Breath, a Breathwork coaching model designed for alleviating stress and improving productivity in the manufacturing industry. Florinda has worked with a multitude of dynamic cohorts throughout her teaching and coaching career.
Buoyed by her extensive experience and training in social sciences education, NASM, Pilates, biomechanics, functional movement, holistic wellness, mindset methodology, Breath-work, as well as academic efficacy and sustainable behavioral change, Florinda strives to help others optimize wellbeing in all its forms.
She is motivated every day by her husband and three kids to find joy, choose calm, be intentional and keep moving!
